Are you interested in developing and help implementing medical marketing activities for doctors all over the world? Then you have found the perfect internship!
We are looking for an intern to start in August/September 2025, who would like to work for Friso, an infant nutrition brand, with emphasis on medical marketing, to support the development and implementation of marketing activities (for Health Care professionals, HCPs) in a diverse portfolio of countries such as Mexico, Singapore and Azerbaijan. The job requires close co-operation within a multi-disciplinary team: distributors, sales, local marketing, global marketing, regulatory affairs, amongst others. Event management skills will definitely help you in this role as there wil be 2 very large medical events coming up!
What we ask
- You are a student in your 3rd year of your Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in a relevant area (e.g. Medical or Nutrition related Sciences, Event Management, Marketing).
- You’re fluent in English, both written and verbal. Spanish is a big plus, other languages are also a plus. Dutch is not a requirement.
- You are available from August or September for a minimum of 5 months, 4-5 days per week. During one or two large events we expect full time presence.
- You already live in the Netherlands and are able to work from our Amersfoort office for a minimum of 2 days per week.
- As medical events are an important aspect of this internship, it is required to have organizational and planning skills. In this role we expect you to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and vendors. For this strong time management and attention to detail is important. We expect you to anticipate on logistical challenges and proactively solve issues along the way and have strong verbal and written communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors and teams are needed.
- We are looking for an intern that has a hands-on mentality; is independent and proactive; has good communication skills; is sensitive to cultural differences; is a team player with entrepreneurial mentality; and is able to connect with people. Sometimes you will be asked to help out on other activities also.

Vacancy description
During your internship you will be part of the Specialised Nutrition Export Team, you will be reporting to the Medical Marketing Manager and have close cooperation with the local Medical Marketing Teams. Get ready to have plenty of interaction with colleagues, third party providers and business relations across all levels and different countries.
Responsibilities:
- Lead event management for several Health Care Professional events organized in the Netherlands.
- Support in medical marketing strategy implementation across multi-countries, campaign launches and performance tracking.
- Coordinate international HCP events for selected countries
