Then Sales Manager South America seems to be the role for you! You will have the daily responsibility of our business in countries as Brazil, Panama, Peru, Chile and Venezuela.

What we ask
To be a successful in this position, you are/have:
- Relevant background in sales, marketing and or business development
- Academic education, Master’s Degree
- At least 8 years of relevant working experience, preferably in FMCG
- Distributor, Key Account Management & Route to Market experience
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Strong communication and relationship skills
- Strong negotiation skills and proven experience
- Analytical skills and finance management experience
- Can set a strategy and put it into clear action and milestones
- Organization skills, working with tight deadlines internally and externally
- The Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary organization
- Creative thinker with a pragmatic mindset and solution oriented
- Hands-on but able to keep focus on the bigger picture

Sales Development
• Top line results of the portfolio
• Pricing and value chain
• Forecasting & stock monitoring
• Monthly Reporting
• Contract management
Distributor & Key Account Management
• Manage day to day relationship with business partners
• Development of annual plan & target setting with distributors
• KPI setting and monitoring
• Monthly Business Review and progress meeting with distributors
• Developing distributor’s in-market execution capabilities
• Roll-out key initiatives in the market
Strategy Development
• Development of strategic growth plans for regions
• Business case development for key initiatives
• Yearly development of commercial plan and budget
Activating Business Focused Team South America
• Working in close cooperation with colleagues in Customer Support, Marketing, Demand Planning & Finance to run operations and develop key decisions for business
Team Details
FrieslandCampina Americas (& Pacific) manages a wide portfolio of around 40 markets in the region. We aim to be the preferred partner of our customers and consumers for cooking and entertainment cheese occasions, and everyday dairy consumption. The team is specialized in Distributor and Key Account management to continuously develop, strengthen and grow the business with our local business partners. Hereby making use of the great brands, products and capabilities FrieslandCampina has to offer.
The team is spread over different locations: Paramus, NJ (Americas Head office, Miami FL, Netherlands, Sao Paulo & Mexico City.
South America is a big region in the Americas portfolio where we have selective branded positions and where we see an opportunity to grow in Cheese & White Dairy. The Sales Manager is based in the FrieslandCampina office in Brazil and well connected with its markets and team.
