What we ask
- BSc/MSc in Food technology or its equivalent (Chemistry/Microbiology/Science Lab tech.)
- 5+ years of experience gained in similar role (including people management)
- Ability to work in a matrix organization with both functional and hierarchical reporting lines
- Well-developed analytical skills
- Good communication and clear decision making capabilities
- Change Management & influencing skills
- Adaptability to work throughout all organizational layers
- Working proficiency in both Hungarian and English (oral and written)
- Experienced user of MS applications

Vacancy description
Ensure high level operations of QC area including strong people management to lead, support, mentor 10+ employees
Assure product compliance
- Release products via Incoming goods control, process control, product control, quality of utilities, monitoring trends.
- Assure handling and resolving of non-conforming product
- Establish batch sampling and testing plan (i.e. control plan)
- Perform extra sampling and testing in case of non-conformity
- Execute shelf-life testing
Provide lab services
- Provide internal and external lab services & process related product control
- Execute sampling and testing (physical, chemical, micro, sensorical)
- Execute sampling and testing environmental monitoring
- Adhere to FrieslandCampina Lab Standards (optmizing lab cost)
- Provide and process test results obtained by own lab or via external laboratory
- Preparation and sending of COA
- Sampling for contaminant monitoring and legal compliance food regulatory
- Manage external labs
- Set-up and validation of methods
- Involvement in the complaint handling process
- Perform problem solving; Assure an effective Q-problem solving process
- Responsible for the timely and correct assessment, analysis, optimization, verification and reporting of all analyzes at the in-house
- QC laboratory, the in-house company lab and at external laboratories.
(In scope:The entry control of the incoming raw materials and packaging materials, sample shipment and storage.)
