Account Manager Horeca & Bakery Nordics
At FrieslandCampina Professional Europe, part of the business group FrieslandCampina Professional, we are looking for an Account Manager Nordics for the Horeca & Bakery Channels. The Account Manager Nordics will be managing our business in Denmark. Your main responsibility will be to optimize this region by maintaining our existing business and unlocking growth opportunities at our partner wholesalers. At the same time, you will maintain our profitability level and handle the different market dynamics in this region. Growing customer reach digitally in geographical areas that cover the largest amount of operators of Horeca & Bakery is also part of the focus. Account Manager Nordics requires a combination of sales & negotiation capabilities, customer focus, ability to simplify processes and an entrepreneurial mindset.
What we ask
- Master’s degree with 5+ years’ experience in B2B sales, preferably in Foodservice or FMCG.
- Strong knowledge of value-based selling, negotiation, and account management.
- Fluency in English
- Data-driven with sound analytical and financial acumen (P&L ownership experience preferred).
- A strategic thinker with strong execution skills and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build long-term partnerships.
- Comfortable navigating matrix organizations and cross-functional collaboration.

- Salary between €4,350 and €5,900 per month, depending on knowledge and experience (full-time);
- Full-time workweek of 38 hours, 5% year-end bonus, 10% bonus, and a pension;

Vacancy description
As Account Manager Nordics, you will be commercially responsible for FrieslandCampina Professional’s Horeca & Bakery business in Denmark. Your role centers on driving volume growth and profitability in line with the regional strategy, primarily through our wholesale and A&B customer partners.
- Commercial & Strategic Ownership: Lead volume development and execute the FC-P strategy across the Nordics, with full P&L responsibility, including pricing, trade terms, and financial performance.
- Customer & Partner Management: Maintain and grow relationships with key wholesalers and strategic partners through a cross-functional approach (sales, marketing, finance, pricing), including joint business planning and annual negotiations.
- Market Growth & Penetration: Expand market share and share of wallet by identifying growth opportunities and improving customer reach, while navigating local regulations and competitive landscapes.
- Indirect Sales Model: Optimize route-to-market and distribution via a Key Account approach, building strategic partnerships and driving operator engagement with targeted activities.
- Innovation & Execution: Adapt and execute global innovation plans locally, ensuring best-in-class launches of new product developments (NPDs).
- Compliance & Process Simplification: Ensure legal compliance in contracting and streamline processes to maintain a scalable export model with reduced complexity.
- Customer Experience & Relationship Building: Deliver exceptional customer experience, oversee issue resolution, and collaborate with internal stakeholders across disciplines and regions.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Use financial and operational KPIs to guide performance, leveraging tools like Salesforce for continuous improvement and execution excellence.
You will be based at our Amersfoort (NL) head office, with flexibility to work from home and travel to Denmark (~20%) to ensure effective in-market presence and execution.
