The Warehouse Operator plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of the warehouse as well as ensuring the proper staging for production runs..
Material Handling: Operates lift trucks and hand trucks to move materials, ensuring safe and efficient handling.
Shipment Preparation: Prepares materials and products for shipment, including loading and unloading, checking for damages, and ensuring items are properly packaged.
Verification of Shipments: Verifies that records for shipments match the invoices or other documentation to ensure accuracy and avoid discrepancies.
Safety Compliance: Follows safety guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Inventory Management: Assist with inventory counts and ensure that items are in the correct location.

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED and at least 1 year of manufacturing work experience.
• Strong organizational skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to independently carry out detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and ability to use a computer.

The Warehouse Operator requires the ability to train on and master the following:
• Equipment involved in the handling of nutritional ingredients.
• Written instructions, including Standard Operating Procedures, that detail the proper steps and methods of using the equipment.
• Understand Pick Sheets that define the materials necessary for the proper staging.
• GMP and Safety Instructions for the safe and effective operation of equipment.
• Performs production tasks which may include:
Positioning and setting up jobs
Adjusting and operating machinery
Use of calibrated equipment
• Load and unload materials, parts, or products; deliver parts or stock, pack products, load packaging machinery, and clean machines and work areas.
• Drives forklift to move materials
• Performs SAP transactions including:
Receiving
Shipping
Inventory Inquiries
In the course of performing duties an operator works with or directly controls steam, hot water and potentially hazardous materials in accordance with GMP and Safety policies.
Allergen Exposure - Our manufacturing facility exposes employees to various allergens and chemicals integral to our ingredient production process. Potential sensitivities include casein, wheat, soy, papain, whey, rice, pea, cotton, gelatin, and malt, as well as various chemical aromas and fumes.
