We are looking for a Business Procurement manager for our Encaps plant in Meppel. You will be responsible for the execution and orchestration of procurement activities on the location and be the first point of contact for the local team for Procurement topics.
The Business Procurement Team for the Business Unit Professional is a highly ambitious team of 9 experienced professionals that works for one of the fastest growing Businesses within FrieslandCampina. - Minimum bachelor degree (HBO)
- 5+ year experiences in Procurement or Supply Chain experience preferably in the food sector and mutinational company
- Procurement experience in direct categories is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills and a commercial mindset
- Project management capabilities to ensure flawless execution of our strategies and initiatives
- Proficiency in English as we have an international procurement organization
- Self-supporting and at the same time being team-player in cross disciplinary teams

- Demand Management: have good insights in the business demand for Meppel and translate this for the Category Procurement teams who manage the global sourcing. Together with your business stakeholders you identify local change and savings projects and build your local Procurement roadmap
- Supplier Management: Build and maintain efficient supplier relations for the key and strategic suppliers on the location and do performance management on a regular basis
- Project Implementation: Lead or be involved in local changes and project implementations and ensure the savings pipeline of projects is properly executed
- Quality & Risk Management: Develop proper contingency plans in alignment with Supply Chain and ensure local execution, first escalation level for supply disruptions
