The Technology department at our Veghel site is preparing for the future and continuously improving our manufacturing processes. We are constantly working on further automation and data-driven optimization. Do you want to contribute to the improvement of our processes in terms of safety, quality, yield, sustainability, or cost reduction at one of the largest plants of FrieslandCampina? Are you passionate about process technology and data? Do you get energy from working with people at all levels of the organization?
We are looking for a Technology Specialist for the production of high-value proteins such as lactoferrin, caseinate, and whey proteins.

- A relevant Master’s degree, preferably in Process Technology or Process Engineering.
- Some experience in the process industry, preferably within the food or pharma industry.
- Ability to communicate at different levels and motivate stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to lead small (non-Capex) projects or willingness to learn.
- Solid communication skills in Dutch or English.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- A proactive attitude, taking ownership in analyzing and offering solutions.
- We also encourage young professionals who have just started their career to apply.

You will be part of a professional team of around 20 technologists. As a Process Technologist, your duties and responsibilities include:
- Improving processes to enhance safety, quality, yield, sustainability, and/or reduce costs.
- Leading (small) process improvements and root cause analyses of deviations.
- Acquiring profound knowledge of operational processes and their interrelations within plants.
- Leading and contributing to the site’s transition towards a more data-driven way of working, including setting important data standards in collaboration with R&D, the central Digital Team, and the central Technology department.
- Supporting and advising internal and external stakeholders on process-related matters.
- Embracing new ideas and sharing knowledge within FrieslandCampina to continuously improve processes.

At FrieslandCampina in Veghel, we share a passion for getting the most out of milk with around 500 employees. Milk is full of nutrients and active substances that can be used as ingredients for existing products. By means of a fully automated process, we extract fats, sugars and proteins from the raw milk and cheese whey that comes in here every day. These nutritious and functional ingredients are then used in sports and baby food, paracetamols, tompouces, milkshakes and oral hygiene products. We do this not without success, because one in seven people worldwide now comes into contact with products containing ingredients from our factory in Veghel on a daily basis!
