We are looking for an inquisitive and ambitious Auditor within Corporate Internal Audit with:
- Academic level education
- 2+ years experience in an audit position (Big-4 or Internal Audit department).
- Strong analytical skills, interview skills, accurate, proactive and results oriented.
- Experience in applying internal control principles and accounting standards
- Experience with stakeholder management, ability to address issues and recommendations with management.
- Professional communication and consulting skills in English, written and verbal.
- Able to travel worldwide around 20% of the time.

As an Internal Audit Specialist at FrieslandCampina, you’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing our global audit processes. You will have the opportunity to explore and understand all aspects of the company’s operations, gaining exposure to various entities, business lines, and international markets. Your work will involve leading audits, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement. You will collaborate with various stakeholders across the business, ensuring compliance and helping to drive continuous improvements in our internal controls. A key focus will be on integrating innovative technologies, including data analytics and AI, to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our audits.
Beyond the technical aspect, the role offers a dynamic, international experience, including occasional travel to various countries. This provides the chance to interact with teams from all over the world, gaining firsthand insight into the diverse challenges and operations within FrieslandCampina. You’ll have the opportunity to shape strategies that impact a global organization and develop a comprehensive understanding of how FrieslandCampina operates in different regions.
You will be part of internal audit teams performing audits on a regular basis in all entities of the company. You will be assigned roles of increasing responsibility and independence as you grow in our department. You will review such diverse area's as IT systems, manufacturing processes, financial controls, data security, sales processes, privacy and sustainability.

Our young, diverse and dynamic team is based in Amersfoort, The Netherlands . We work together with local businesses. to independently assess operations, processes and systems. We also investigate forensic cases if required. We are an open, social, ambitious team that likes to have fun as well as work hard.
Together we support FrieslandCampina to grow stronger as well build the Internal Audit department. Designated as a talent pool, the internal audit department provides a development position for a possible next step in their career within FrieslandCampina, for example in Finance or other disciplines.
