Intern Optimization Waste Water

This internship focusses on the optimization of our industrial waste water treatment plant. Due to several process changes, the composition of the waste water was changed. Therefore we must improve the way we operate the WWTP (Waste Water Treatment Plant). In this internship you will design, test and implement optimizations of our WWTP to optimize efficiency and to minimize costs.

Ce ne dorim

  • An enthusiastic, independent, driven student that easily communicates with others.
  • Good foundation in process technology, basic knowledge of dairy technology. Knowledge on waste water and/or biological processes is preferred.
  • Student with EU nationality or enrolled at a Dutch university
  • Final years of relevant study, e.g. Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Food Technology or Environmental Science (BSc Applied Sciences HBO, MSc)
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written. Dutch is a pre.
  • Hands-on and good organizational skills.

  • Do an assessment on the effects of different parameters on the performance of the WWTP.
  • Organize trails and set up monitoring plans.
  • Data analysis on the effect of trails on the performance of the WWTP.
  • Identification of optimizations.
  • Dashboarding of WWTP performance

Your internship will be at the factory in Borculo. In this versatile and dynamic environment you'll get the opportunity to gain experience in the work field. You'll be part of the Technology team where you can learn from experienced professionals.
