Sales Manager Innovation Adult and Early Life Nutrition
FrieslandCampina Ingredients is looking for a Sales Manager Innovation to drive the commercialization of key innovations and grow our specialty ingredient business in Adult & Early Life Nutrition. You will be responsible for delivering innovation sales at specific accounts and regions (incl North America, Latin America). Drawing on your experience, expertise, and enthusiasm, you will guide three Innovation Business Development team members in advancing their business development efforts. Additionally, you will manage the opportunity pipeline and supervise the global performance of the Innovation Business Development team to ensure commercial success.
What we ask
- Academic/master level, preferably in Sales, Marketing, Business and background in Nutrition or Food Technology;
- >10 year international B2B Sales experience in the nutrition or food ingredients industry with a proven track record in Business development (including corporate clients);
- Comfortable with scientific concepts and terminology;
- Excellent communicator with the ability to build strong relationships and networks;
- Working with multi-disciplinary teams;
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage;
- Traveling 30% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Innovation with Customers: Initiate, drive, and land innovation projects, ensuring successful commercialization of specialty ingredients;
- Manage Opportunity Pipeline: Qualify leads, identify opportunities, and build a strong short-, medium-, and long-term pipeline;
- Execute Business Development: Act as the key point of contact for stakeholders, coordinating efforts across sales, marketing, and technical teams;
- Develop Strategic Plans: Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to create and execute business development strategies for key ingredients, accounts, and regions;
- Networking & Representation: Build and expand relationships with partners and customers to uncover new business opportunities;
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Monitor business development initiatives across regions, track performance, and optimize processes;
- Support Application Development: Identify and initiate application projects to ensure successful innovation adoption by customers;
