What we ask
- Completed at least a bachelor’s degree (preferably in Finance, Accounting & Controlling, Business Administration, or Economics)
- Fluency in English
- Fresh Graduate with preferably less than two years of working experience
- Entry-level experience and/or relevant internships and experience with financial systems (an advantage)
- Global mindset, strong team player with analytical, social, leadership, and result-driven skills

Vacancy description
Join FrieslandCampina’s Global Finance Traineeship program and embark on a challenging and enriching journey. This three-year program offers you the opportunity to work in two roles within diverse areas of finance, ensuring broad exposure and development.
In one role, you might gain international experience in our financial shared services hubs, located in Budapest and Kuala Lumpur, where operational financial activities are managed. In another, you could contribute to strategic roles, analyzing key business drivers and shaping the direction of the company to maximize value creation.

Example rotations
Commercial Controller: As a commercial controller you will have two roles. First, you have the financial perspective, where FrieslandCampina expects you to be in control of the financials. This means understanding everything related to finance such as, the costs, profits, KPI's, cash flows, balance posts, overdues and translating this to understandable insights. Second, as commercial controller you work with marketing and sales departments on a daily basis. In this role, you are expected to be the financial business partner by providing strong financial insights, but also to challenge your marketing and sales colleagues to make the right decisions. The combination of these two parts makes it a diverse, analytical and challenging role.
Corporate Strategy: In a fast-paced environment, you will work closely with our team of a Strategy Director and Strategy Manager(s) and will support all strategic processes by focusing on e.g. gathering inputs from stakeholders, data analysis, business insights generation, creation and presentation of management presentations, etc. Working with the Strategy Director, the trainee will have opportunities to gain exposure to Senior Management (ELT/EB).
It is a fantastic learning opportunity with exposure to critical decisions to be made by the company across BGs, disciplines and higher management. Typical projects report into the EB or ELT. Numerous big overarching topics are on the Strategy agenda to address over the coming period, and dependent on timing also involvement in any M&A developments.
