Global Marketing Lead Early Life Nutrition

FrieslandCampina Ingredients (B2B) is looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven Global Marketing Lead to join our Global Marketing team in the Early Life Nutrition segment. In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping and executing our global marketing strategy, helping to give infants and toddlers the best possible start in life while driving value growth.

As Global Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for implementing and executing our marketing strategy across EMEA and the Americas, ensuring consistency and excellence across regions. You will oversee our entire Early Life Nutrition portfolio, reinforcing our leadership in infant formula ingredients and enhancing our market position.

This role requires a deep understanding of the market landscape, including consumer insights, competitors, customers, and our company’s unique capabilities. Your strategic mindset and ability to translate insights into action will be key to delivering impactful marketing execution.

Global Marketing Lead Early Life Nutrition

What we ask

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Economics, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • at least 10 years of relevant experience in marketing, digital strategy, communications, or strategic business development in a global setting - preferably within Early Life Nutrition, health, food, or nutrition industries.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth through marketing strategy, execution, and collaboration with sales/BD teams - including campaign development, branding, communications, relationship-building, KPI monitoring, and sales conversion.
  • Strong expertise in digital marketing & campaign strategy development, with experience coaching others in this area.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, provide insights, challenge conventional thinking, and take bold, strategic actions when necessary.
  • Corporate experience, with the ability to navigate within complex organizations and make a meaningful impact.
  • Results-driven and creative, with excellent problem-solving, analytical, and influencing skills.
  • Outstanding communication & presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset - proactive, ownership-driven, and committed to driving initiatives forward.
  • Project management expertise, with experience working in matrix and networked organizations using a multi-disciplinary approach.

Vacancy description

  • Drive regional marketing strategy - Shape and execute the marketing strategy across Europe and the Americas by adapting global propositions into region-specific value propositions and initiating new initiatives (e.g., innovation, communication) based on consumer and customer insights.
  • Lead product launches & innovation - Develop and execute global launch plans for new products while spearheading innovation projects and region-specific product launches in EMEA and the Americas.
  • Own regional marketing execution - Oversee and execute marketing campaigns (including thought leadership & lead generation), ensuring consistent global brand positioning and messaging across all touchpoints.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally - Align with Sales, Business Development, and Technical Sales teams in EMEA and the Americas to drive segment priorities and ensure strategic execution.
  • Support strategic initiatives - Lead the launch and expansion of our Kids Nutrition platform, while co-driving innovation and application projects in collaboration with customers.
  • Build and leverage external networks - Strengthen relationships with key customers, KOLs, and industry partners to enhance brand presence and market influence.

Team Details

You will report to the Global Marketing Director Early Life Nutrition and you will be part of the global Segment Marketing team Early Life Nutrition. You will have a local responsibility for EMEA, North America and Latin America and a global coordination responsibility across all regions. The role will work closely together with the Regional Sales Directors of EMEA, North America and Latin America and their regional teams. 

You will also engage closely with the sales, development, marketing communications, nutrition, regional sales offices, finance and research teams. The position is based in Amersfoort and you are part of the global Segment Marketing team Early Life Nutrition.
