Global Insights Strategy Manager

We are looking for a strategic and forward-thinking Global Insights Strategy Manager to lead the transformation of FrieslandCampina’s global insights capability. In this role, you will accelerate the adoption of new ways of working, digital tooling, and AI-powered methodologies across our global Business Groups (BG). Sitting within the Global Commercial Excellence team, reporting to the Global Insights & Analytics Director, you’ll drive how insights fuel commercial strategies, unlock growth opportunities and inspire better decision-making across both B2B and B2C environments. This is a highly visible, cross-functional role ideal for someone who thrives in complexity, enjoys orchestrating change and is passionate about building an insights ecosystem that’s agile, strategic and scalable.

Global Insights Strategy Manager

What we ask

  • Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data/Insights or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in consumer insights or strategy roles within international FMCG or consultancy settings
  • Strong transformation and change management experience, ideally across global or matrixed organizations
  • Solid knowledge of both traditional and digital research methodologies (qual/quant, AI tools, agile testing)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, especially with senior leadership
  • Fluent in English
  • Curious, pragmatic and digitally savvy mindset
  • Experience in platform governance (e.g. Qualtrics, Stravito, syndicated tools)
  • Familiarity with foresight, analytics, or commercial planning tools
  • Experience managing vendor ecosystems or overseeing strategic research partnerships
  • Background in food & beverage or similar consumer industries

Vacancy description

As Global Insights Strategy Manager, you will:

Lead the global transformation of the insights domain

  • Own and drive the implementation of FrieslandCampina’s global insights transformation roadmap
  • Lead cross-BG initiatives to standardize and scale future-ready tools, dashboards and capabilities
  • Drive adoption of common frameworks and KPIs to support commercial planning and performance conversations
  • Support the global roll-out of key initiatives including the NPS program (setup, training, reporting standards) and Brand Health Tracker, ensuring local activation and global consistency

Drive research excellence and ecosystem engagement

  • Own and evolve iSearch, our global insights platform—ensuring content quality, user engagement and platform integration (e.g. Assistant, Knowledge Hub, Insights Feeds)
  • Lead strategic vendor portfolio management—from sourcing and performance tracking to innovation co-creation and contract governance—in collaboration with Procurement and IT
  • Foster a connected insights community by enabling cross-team learning, scalable best practices and co-creation across B2C and B2B Business Groups
  • Champion data-driven brand building by reinforcing the use of core KPIs across global programs and insights tools

Champion AI and digital innovation

  • Explore, pilot and embed AI-powered research methodologies (e.g. synthetic personas, predictive models, digital asset testing) that enhance speed, relevance and business impact
  • Partner with IT, BGs and vendors to scale smart digital solutions and ensure seamless platform integration
  • Accelerate transformation by enabling smarter, faster and more connected ways of working

Activate thought leadership and strategic foresight

  • Collaborate with agency partners and BG stakeholders to develop thought leadership content, including trendspotting, foresight work and cultural insights
  • Enable strategic conversations across teams by translating foresight into tools, sprints and capability programs
  • Act as an internal catalyst for embedding consumer-centricity in brand, innovation and sustainability strategies
