Deployment Lead Supply Planning

Within the Global Supply Chain we are looking for a Project manager for our key transformative initiative: project Anura. Under Project Anura we are implementing a new way of working in our Global Supply Chain (both Demand and Supply planning) by introducing a next generation planning tool from OMP. Our aim is to move from a short term static sequential planning to a synchronized, data driven planning with E2E visibility across our Supply Chain both on short and longer term horizon.

The total program consists of 3 workstreams: Demand Planning, Supply Planning (which also includes link to scheduling and MRP planning). The program started with the demand planning workstream in 2023, which is currently in full deployment mode. For Supply Planning build started and first go live is scheduled in November ’25.

In this role you will lead the Anura deployments of Supply Planning within the assigned scope worldwide. This entails both preparation to assure the business is ready to receive and deployment of the tool and way of working within the planning teams.

What we ask

  • Master or Bachelor degree with 5-8 years working experience 
  • Experience in a Supply Chain planning environment (e.g. demand or supply planning)
  • Understanding of (customer) supply chain, experience within RFC is a plus
  • Knowledge or experience in supply chain planning excellence projects is a plus
  • Knowledge of OMP would be an advantage
  • Experience in implementation management and/or commissioning
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills (English must, Dutch optional)
  • Pro-active/action oriented, self-starter
  • High sense of responsibility and accountability
  • Pragmatic and flexible, able and willing to travel to the assigned deployment scope
  • Dynamic/energetic, able to motivate and engage with colleagues and management
  • Being able to work in a multi-cultural, dynamic environment, at all levels and in cross-functional teams

Vacancy description

  • As a Project manager you will spend your time for 100% as Deployment Lead to implement the Supply planning part of the OMP planning tool  and way of working to our global Supply Chain organization. The timing of the activities is scheduled between now till mid 2028.
  • In this project you will work closely together with the core project team consisting of experts from the Operational Excellence team (OPEX), IT, Program management and your fellow Deployment Leads.
  • As Deployment Lead you are the linking pin between the local deployment team within the specific OpCo and the core project team. As Project Management is a specific capability, the Deployment Lead bears responsibility for the total deployment according to our deployment methodology. In this deployment methodology you prepare, facilitate, lead and assure that all activities are executed and deliverables are reached. As Deployment Lead you assure support for the objectives and ensure good quality and documentation at each stage for sign off.
  • Implementing this transformative way of working entails more than solely implementing a new tool. Change management and continuous improvement capabilities are key. As Deployment Lead you manage this change with the various stakeholders within the OpCo on both tactical and operational level. In this context you deal with tradeoffs and potential conflict and coach colleagues to bring the system template into action!

Team Details

The Project Anura team is part of the Operational Excellence team of our Global Supply Chain organization and is based in Amersfoort. You will be part of a diverse, ambitious team and will report to the E2E Supply Lead, which is currently also being recruited. You will frequently be in contact with our global Supply Chain organization and will visit them during deployment.
