Brand Manager, Ivory Coast
To plan, implement after approval and evaluate projects/activities for the designated brand in line with marketing objective and brand year plan. Other Key activities include:
- To support in setting Category and Brand strategies and their execution
- Provide market and consumer insights to strengthen brand strategies
- Conduct issues & opportunities report to ensure brands’ strategy is addressing market needs
- Ensure efficient use of budget
What we ask
- MSC, MA, MBA degree in Marketing, Sales or Management
- 3- 5 years in Brand Management
- Bilingual (French and English)
- Strong in strategic thinking and execution
- Good user of MS suite (Excel, PPT, Word…)
Strong communication skills (must be Fluent in English & French)
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong on driving Accountability and Responsibility
Strong on driving alignment and sense of urgency
Strong in translating observations into insights
Experience in managing cross functional teams and working with Agencies
Experience on driving innovation

Consumer Understanding
-Supervise research Fieldwork & analyze data from research.
-Run regular 6Ps reviews and suggest action plans and follow up on execution
Results:
• Propose quarterly research report and suggest actions
• Propose quarterly 6Ps review of brand and suggest actions
Strategy, Plans & Brands Planning
- Coordinate formulation of Issues & Opportunities, Strategies & Objectives.
- Suggest Jobs to be done/ Priorities per category as per Category Strategy and Brand Audit
- Translate Brand Strategies/Objectives into Brand Marketing plan.
-Oversee marketing and advertising activities to ensure consistency with Brand strategy & Objectives.
Results:
• Propose Brand Marketing Plan aligned with Brand JTBD for each country
• Propose report of countries marketing plan executions
• Deliver BMP on time and in full
In Market Activation
- Delivering the annual financial plan as measured through market share, topline, margin and profit.
- Work internally with Sales & Channel Development to elaborate Shopper Marketing plans and lead in-store execution
- Work externally with Media, Communication, Digital, and Activation Agencies to execute Brand plans and to deliver results expected from promotions and activations
- Work with Monitoring & Media agencies to get optimal media exposure.
Results:
- Volume target for each country
- EBIT target for each country
- Propose optimal media plan
Innovation Management
- Work with cross functional teams and make proposals for projects documents.
- Prepare & coordinate all required inputs for different projects gates.
- Prepare label and product development
- Track & Monitor Innovation KPIs.
Results
- Run effective innovation meeting
- Deliver artwork
- On time in full delivery of innovations
A&P management
- Put together Yearly A&P plan.
- Track & Monitor A&P spend to ensure ‘’actual is in line with forecast’’.
- Drive Return of A&P investment on all promotional activities.
