What we ask
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- 5+ years of relevant experience in General Ledger accounting
- Experience working in a multinational, matrix-organisation is a plus
- Fluent in English; Dutch and/or German are a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, HFM)
- Advanced skills in Microsoft 365 (Excel / Word / Powerpoint)
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with experience driving or contribution to cross-functional and cross-border process improvements
- Ability to adapt to change and manage priorities in a deadline-driven environment

Vacancy description
- Lead, coach and develop the Record to Report team
- Driving monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting requirements according to IFRS principles
- Support the local statutory reporting timely and in accordance with the Local Accounting legislation (Local GAAP) for several countries
- Leading as a functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) in a selected range of the defined Accounting & Reporting master processes
- Manage & prepare journal entries, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations, including active communication and follow-up on actions with internal business partners.
- Support external audits
- Support management by breaking down information in a systematic and communicable manner as well as escalate, manage and report control issues with transparency in a timely manner
- Proactive way of improving accounting processes
- Contribute to implementation of accounting and finance related projects
