What we ask
- Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management/ (Technical) Business Administration or APICS (or equivalent) certification if your degree is not in Supply Chain Management.
- Knowledge of supply chain management, planning, and inventory management principles such as S&OP, Rough-Cut Capacity Planning, MPS, and MRP.
- 3-4 years of experience in (Sales and Operations) Planning within an FMCG or Food environment is advantageous.
- Familiarity/ affinity with planning systems: SAP ECC, APO, PBI. Experience with OMP is advantageous.
- Cultural awareness and organizational sensitivity.
- Willingness to travel regularly to our manufacturing sites.
- Fluent in English and Dutch, both written and spoken.

Vacancy description
As a S&OP Planner you have a diverse set of responsibilities:
- Prepare and support monthly Demand & Supply Balancing (D&SB) and Business Group S&OP meetings, including scenario management, storytelling, and decisiveness.
- Consolidate demand and engage in Business Partnering across Customer Supply Chains/Go to Markets/Business Groups.
- Own the Monthly Business Review and 'Tier Improve' Process for KPIs (Inventory Volume-Value-Days, P+, and Waste/write-offs/obsoletes).
- Contribute to the monthly write-off/obsoletes management process.
- Collaborate with other S&OP planners to set standards and define templates for Supply Review, Demand & Supply Balancing, Business Group S&OP, and monthly performance review and management information.
- Contribute to strategic programs such as Anura (OMP), Performance+, and Our Way of Working, by leading and participating in improvement projects, taking functional ownership to simplify, standardize, and optimize processes and systems (e.g., safety stock settings, reporting, cycle stock/EBQ).
- Act as a key user for reporting for PowerBI
- Lead the Rough Cut Capacity Planning exercise (3 year capacity outlook).
- Support flexibility/agility analysis (e.g., contingency for FP, RM & PM).
- Provide backup for Supply Network Planners (e.g., during long holidays).
Team Details
As an S&OP Planner, you will be part of the Supply Planning Professional & Trading team which consists of a total of 6 (3 S&OP planners and 3 Planning Leads). The total team delivers Cream, Butter, Milk Powder, and Encapsulated products. The S&OP Planner reports to the Global Supply Planning Director of Professional & Trading.
This role is centrally positioned with a strong link to the Encapsulates planning team, which primarily plans products such as non-dairy creamers, fat powders, and foamers for Food and Beverages customers worldwide. Production occurs in factories in Meppel (The Netherlands), Lippstadt (Germany), Salatiga (Indonesia), Manila (Philippines), and contract manufacturing locations in China. The Encapsulates Supply team consists of 8 employees based in Amersfoort, Meppel, Lippstadt, and Salatiga, working as Supply Planners or Location Leads for the factories and external manufacturers.
