Manager Technology
As a Technology Manager, you will oversee a team of over 10 Technology Specialists. In addition to managing your own team, you will have a functional line to more than 50 plant technologists who will rely on your team's expertise.
Working within a matrix organization, you will also serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the SC Cluster MEPA (Middle East, Pakistan, Africa).
What we ask
- Internal and External Relationships: Collaborate with project principals, project managers, R&D, technology expert teams, and other departments. Maintain relationships with suppliers, universities, industry organizations, and strategic technology partners.
- Knowledge and Experience: Hold an academic degree in a relevant field (e.g., Food Technology, Chemical Engineering) with at least 10 years of experience in process design within the food, pharma, or chemical industry. Extensive experience in technology leadership and a deep understanding of the food industry.
- Skills: Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience in building and leading cross-functional teams, managing technology projects, and influencing key stakeholders without hierarchical authority. Fluent in English; Dutch is an advantage.
- Specific Requirements: Results-driven mindset, familiarity with regulatory requirements related to food safety and quality, and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure. Experience in the field of Pharma and Infant Food.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Focus on efficiency improvement, productivity, resource matching, talent development, customer satisfaction, and process quality of implemented Capex projects.

In addition to managing your team of 8-10 technology specialists, you will serve as the primary point of contact for your cluster (MEPA). As the Principal of several Technology Expert Teams, you will leverage your expertise and experience to guide, coach, and accelerate their progress.
As a member of the RFC Technology Management Team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of technology at RFC. Your natural drive for continuous improvement and passion for enhancing and sustaining processes will be key to your success in this role.
